Snowdonia is a region in northwest Wales concentrated around the mountains and glacial landforms of massive Snowdonia National Park. The parks historic Snowdon Mountain Railway climbs to the summit of Wales highest mountain, Mount Snowdon, offering views across the sea to Ireland.
